Initial onboarding happens after a candidate has successfully passed an interview with the automotive customer, proven their mastery of the required technologies and tools, as well as their knowledge of automotive standards and guidelines (e.g., ASPICE, AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, TISAX, etc.), and their start date has been defined. Once the candidate has been approved, an introductory call is scheduled, credentials are issued, a resource manager and project coordinator from Andersen are assigned, and final success criteria are established.

The specialist meets with other team members. They get acquainted with team-related and IT project documentation, are briefed on priorities, analyze the project goal and its value, and gain access to communication platforms, environments, etc.

After a specialist begins delivering, we offer continuous support. Andersen conducts daily sync calls with the specialist for the first two weeks to ensure a smooth onboarding process. That includes assessment of tasks, work scope, bug count, communication time, and development efforts performed by the respective RM and PC. If, after the initial month, the customer feedback is positive and the specialist meets the position criteria and is performing well, we consider the onboarding process completed.

Andersen's assessment system includes Middle (1-3) and Senior (1-2) levels. Middle assessments occur semi-annually, while Senior assessments are annual, resulting in gradual grade growth for successful employees. Our assessments cover theory and practice, adhere to automotive standards, including TISAX, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 26262, ASPICE, and AUTOSAR, and are conducted by certified experts. Our automotive software developers also attend tech courses twice a year, sponsored by Andersen.

Andersen prioritizes performance control through a variety of project roles, including project coordinators for management, tech experts for technical matters, resource managers for motivation, and delivery managers for strategy. These roles comprehensively contribute to high performance in all applicable aspects. For instance, project coordinators ensure efficient onboarding by preparing materials and creating a knowledge base, streamlining the process, and monitoring performance, while tech experts provide support, as well as reporting on progress and points for improvement to project coordinators throughout the entire project.
